DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

RADIOGRAPHY: Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Click on Digital Radiography for a visit to our x-ray room.

ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

VETERINARY ULTRASOUND: Ultrasound uses sound waves to form a picture of the interior of the body without using radiation. These images are complimentary to radiographs and provide additional information to add to the clinical picture. It is a powerful diagnostic tool with many uses beyond evaluating pregnancy.

SURGICAL SERVICES:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite allows for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Click Surgery for a view of our prep room and surgery suite.

ANESTHESIA:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

LASER THERAPY: Our Companion therapy laser is a fast, painless, sterile, surgery- and drug-free means to treat a variety of pet health issues.

DENTISTRY: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery. Digital dental radiography is a recent addition.

EMERGENCY CARE: Please phone 740-453-0539 for instructions for after-hour emergencies.

LABORATORY:  Our laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

PHARMACY:  We maintain an inventory of pharmaceuticals, heartworm preventatives, nutritional supplements, and vitamins. Visit the Pet Library of Information for detailed information on these products and their use.

INDIVIDUALIZED FLEA CONTROL:  Programs are designed to meet specific needs of your pet and your environment. We will review with you the best way to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet. See our Pet Library of Information for more information.

BOARDING: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during business hours Monday through Saturday. For daily rates and accommodations click Camp Brandywine.

DIETARY COUNSELING:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We offer Hill's Science Diets and Prescription Diets, Royal Canin and Purina prescription diets. Please call our nutritional experts to find the correct diet for your pet.

BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. Also see our Pet Library of Information.
