Positions for which we may have openings include:

RECEPTIONIST

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, preparation and maintenance of electronic and written medical records, over-the-counter sales, mailings, computer data entry, financial transactions, filing, and reception area maintenance. Receptionists are responsibile for acquiring medical and legal information necessary for the medical care of the patients.

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Our technicians are graduates of an approved, accredited veterinary technology school. There are 7 such schools in Ohio. Recent graduates must also have passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam. Registered technicians assist the doctors with medical, surgical and laboratory procedures; take radiographs; perform routine daily treatment of hospitalized patients; are key in client communication and education; fill medications as directed by DVMs; do required maintenance of instruments/equipment as well as OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Veterinary assistants are not required to graduate from a veterinary technology school. Duties include assisting the doctor, daily care of hospitalized patients (including walking and feeding), assisting in the exam rooms, pharmacy, client communication and cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment. An assistant's activities are under the direct supervision of a veterinarian or registered veterinary technician.
